Daily use processing
When taking and dispensing the substance, perform the operation in a fume hood or a well-ventilated area. Wear protective gloves, safety goggles, and a respirator to minimize inhalation of vapors and skin contact.
Avoid spillage of materials. If a small amount is spilled, immediately absorb it with sand or an inert adsorbent material, collect it into a sealed container, and never pour it directly into the sewer or onto the ground.
Waste Material Disposal
Waste Liquid Disposal: Used residual liquids and waste liquids from cleaning containers must be collected centrally in waste liquid drums and entrusted to a qualified hazardous waste disposal unit for proper treatment. Private discharge is strictly prohibited.
Disposal of Waste Containers: Empty containers must be thoroughly rinsed with clean water and either recycled by the organization or treated as hazardous waste. They must not be discarded as ordinary trash nor used to hold food or other items.
Leak Emergency Response
In the event of a major leak, immediately isolate the leak area, set up warning signs, and eliminate any ignition sources. Evacuate personnel to the designated area and ensure they are wearing respirators before proceeding with the cleanup.
Use an explosion-proof pump to transfer the leaked material into a collection container, or cover and absorb it with sand and soil. The collected material must be stored in a sealed container and handed over to the designated unit for disposal. Contaminated ground should be rinsed with clean water; the wastewater generated from rinsing must be treated to meet discharge standards before being released.
